For some women, middle age can be challenging. The changes in hormones and the symptoms like insomnia, weight fluctuations, hot flushes, anxiety, brain fog and not feeling like yourself can be hard to manage.

This relaxed retreat provides a safe and supportive space for women to explore the physical, emotional, and spiritual changes that accompany perimenopause and menopause.

Feeling more in control and empowered is the goal, and we help you get there through daily workshops, discussions and guidance from our coaches. You will gain a deeper understanding of your body and mind during this transition, and be pampered with nourishing yummy food, massages and daily yoga.

This retreat is designed to provide a safe and supportive space for women to explore the physical, emotional, and spiritual changes that accompany menopause.

Truth: While the risk of pregnancy decreases with age, it is still possible to get pregnant during menopause.

Michelle Thomas

Michelle is a life coach, energy healer, yoga teacher, artist and an interior designer, and all of these aspects of who she is helped to form the incredible retreat centre that is Quinta Carvalhas. 

It was when ladies started to come to her for intuitive healing sessions with their ‘serious health problems’ that their doctors can’t fix, that she realised that it is time for something much bigger to occur in women’s health. She created this menopause retreat so that women feel both empowered and supported, and able to move towards living their best lives. 

Michelle is passionate about partnering with women on their journeys of self growth and re-discovery in all areas, encompassing mind, body and soul. She has the goal of reaching as many as possible to see lives lived with inspiration, confidence and joy.

Dr Sarah Wilson

Dr. Sarah Wilson, ND, is a renowned women’s health Naturopathic Doctor, celebrated for her innovative wellness solutions. Drawing from her personal health journey, Dr.Sarah is committed to empowering women to reclaim vitality naturally, blending research-backed expertise with her passion for Naturopathic Medicine. "I came to Green Farm for a retreat, and I keep coming back for Intuitive Healing (IH) with Michelle. IH, in my case, is not the full story. I have found support in these sessions with several subjects. I sometimes drive about two hours for a session and then back in the same day. Recently, I did a private retreat for the weekend. I got a wonderfully intense massage in addition to my sessions with Michelle. I was also able to see a double rainbow, attend a great yoga class with Richard, and be with the horses. I call Michelle my Business Mentor, but she is also a Life Navigator. The term Life Coach is more commonly used, but different than what Michelle has to offer.
